Flows are Contextual - appear based on where you are in the application (location) and who you are (role). Optimal performance and adoption of any web application is attained when there is easy access to Contextual Information - inside the application at the time a task is being performed.

Job Description

As a Marketing DemoArchitect & StoryTeller,  you'll work side-by-side with Sales, Sales Demo Engineering, Product Marketing and Solution Consultants to create cross-application demo stories that reflect   how target end-users (e.g. sellers/ sales rep, average employee, customer community users, finance users,procurement users, suppliers, partner users) use multiple enterprise applications (e.g. Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office365, SharePoint etc.) in the normal course of doing their business activities.

The goal of this role would be to define compelling storylines, translate them into demo scenarios on the Whatfix Platform and set-up the demos to ensure higher prospect empathy, engagement, product delight and win rates. You will serve as an expert and strategic advisor to sales by creating compelling, value-driven and detailed platform stories. As a hands-on product and platform expert, you will articulate the value of the Whatfix platform through demonstrable use-cases that run across various applications in a company's technology landscape. 

The role will report to the VP of Product Marketing (based in San Jose, CA, USA). This is a hands-on individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Map out end user journeys  (e.g. sellers/ sales rep, average employee, customer community users, finance users,procurement users, suppliers, partner users) 
  2. Define how end user’s journey (for a given user type), span across multiple different applications (CRM, Sales, CLM, CPQ, ERP, End User Collaboration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain applications etc.) 
  3. Create a Story-line from a messaging stand-point around the User pain-points and challenges, impact of not addressing pain-points, ideal solution, Whatfix solution, value delivered by Whatfix solution
  4. Translate the Story-line into a DEMO Story that can be shown inside the Whatfix application (working on top of CRM, Sales, CLM, CPQ, ERP, End User Collaboration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain applications etc.)
  5. Set-up the DEMO story line on the Whatfix Platform using the Whatfix Editor and the underlying DEMO applications e.g. Salesforce, Workday, SAP etc.
  6. Gather and set-up  the demo data (e.g. Accounts, organizations, employees, users, locations), documents (e.g. proposals, quotes), logins and passwords by persona
  7. Identify technical requirements for the DEMO Solution Engineering team to write scripts, data scraping, data extraction and on-screen web-pages to support the ideal DEMO story-line
  8. Get feedback from Sales, Solutions Consultant, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers, Product Management and Product Marketing on the above
  9. Program manage the completion of the above DEMO and make it fully ready and releasable to Sales in calls
  10. Enable Sales to use the Demo by recording the demo in webex and also using Whatfix platform Flows to show/ share how the ideal demo should work
  11. Rinse and repeat the process for both Cross-Application Demos by user type as well as for Application specific Demos for key applications like Salesforce and Workday
  12. Track and improve platform pitch by participating in sales calls and also for providing critical feedback to sales and solution consulting.

Basic Requirements

  1. Prior Experience as a Demo Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, System Implementation- with hands on experience creating, managing and delivering DEMO environments
  2. Strong hands on usage of Salesforce as a power user, implementer, process improvement expert is a MUST
  3. A solid understanding of the enterprise application software market space and a grasp of the fundamentals of various categories of software such as CRM, HCM, ERP e.g. Workday
  4. Experience with demo story creation, demo modeling in systems in collaboration with other teams 
  5. Experience of creating detailed step-by-step platform story to articulate platform value uniquely to the customer, industry, company and buyer persona needs
  6. Knowledge of the latest technologies and trends that determine the advancements, zeal to be up-to-date on the new developments in the EAS space.

Qualifications:

  1. 6-8 years of solid solutions consulting experience;
  2. Technical skills in scripting, data extraction, scraping is preferred
  3. Technical degree in programming and data analytics is preferred
  4. Very strong written & communication skills. Excellent presentation, and delivery skills
  5. Experience of working with various Fortune 500 companies as customers in various industries across the globe. (even from offshore model)
  6. Excellent collaboration and team skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
  7. Prior product management/consulting/product marketing experience is a plus.
