Whatfix is disrupting the way Application Support and Learning content is consumed by providing Contextual and Interactive Walkthroughs inside enterprise applications at the exact time a task is being performed.

We provide enterprises with a Software Platform that allows them to create Interactive Guides or Flows that sit as an overlay inside any web application. Flows are Contextual - appear based on where you are in the application (location) and who you are (role). Optimal performance and adoption of any web application is attained when there is easy access to Contextual Information inside the application at the time a task is being performed.

We’re looking for exceptionally talented and motivated individuals to help us build the world’s best software at scale for thousands of clients. You'll be teaming up with engineers, product managers, and salespeople from a diverse set of backgrounds who are challenging every assumption about software development.

Responsibilities:

  • Become the subject matter expert for all Business Development processes, best practices and metrics
  • Hire, mentor, coach and train current and incoming Business Development Representatives in order for the sales team to meet or exceed their quota 
  • Exploring and trying new tools and technologies
  • Responsible for the team's target
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up qualification in order to move opportunities into the sales funnel
  • Perform thorough needs assessment and identify prospects pain points
  • Conduct personalized outbound calls, emailing and social channel activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other campaigns
  • Build and increase industry knowledge on select industries and Whatfix products
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM
  • Promote database cleanup and hygiene through regular and ongoing maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in a team lead / managerial role in a business development / sales development department, preferably within a SaaS organization
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)
  • Team player
  • Tools - Salesforce, Outreach/Sales loft/ LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Working in the US Geography. Know their culture.  
  • Brownie point - loves making personalized video for outreach
