About the Role

We are looking for a stellar Account Executive who has a proven track record of hunting and nurturing enterprise accounts, from identification, to opportunity sourcing, to closing of enterprise SaaS agreements.

You will have the early mover advantage as one of the first Account Executives in the US, working a large greenfield territory in the US Central, and help to define where our Sales organization heads together.

Who you are:

  • 2-8+ years in an enterprise sales role including both inside and field sales. 
  • Ability and history of closing accounts with values ranging from $50,000 - $500,000 ARR
  • Ability and proven practice of doing your own prospecting and hunting
  • You are competitive and have a track record of over-achieving quota. 
  • Proven track record of enterprise sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of selling SaaS products to the enterprise market.  
  • Experience in account planning and opportunity management, and running a sales cycle
  • Proven ability to sell to both functional and departmental groups including Sales, Support, IT, Product Management and HR.
  • Intellectual curiosity - you love to ask questions and are genuinely interested in learning your client's needs

  • Manage customer relationships across their entire lifecycle from sourcing to closing. Closely work with a BDR to strategize reach outs in accounts.
  • Learn and demonstrate the Whatfix platform to new prospective customers
  • Navigate a customer through a free 7 day proof of concept with the help of a Sales engineer (case to case basis)
  • Negotiate and work on contracts
  • Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Investigate the customer’s long-term business objectives and anticipate future needs
